Meet Your Founder

Aydin D’Arcy

Founder | Creative Director

Aydin grew up in the event planning world, assisting her mother - an experienced event planner - behind the scenes at large-scale events from a young age. After planning her own wedding, she discovered how deeply she loved weddings in particular, how meaningful the creative process was for her, and how powerful it is to have someone you trust managing the logistics so you can stay fully present and enjoy the experience. That realization inspired her to build a planning company rooted in intention, organization, and genuine care.

She is deeply invested in creating weddings that feel authentic to each couple. Rather than following trends or a one-size-fits-all formula, Aydin focuses on protecting her clients’ vision and ensuring every element comes together seamlessly.

When she’s not planning weddings, Aydin can usually be found spending time with her husband, Trevor, their daughter, Scotland, and their beloved goldendoodle, Josie - the heart behind the brand and the most loyal “office assistant.” Between running a business and embracing life as a new mom, she loves the beautiful chaos of family life and finds even more meaning in celebrating life's biggest milestones.

MeiMei Le

Lead Planner

MeiMei discovered her love for event planning while organizing her own wedding in 2021. She realized the big day felt effortless thanks to meticulous planning, the perfect team, and the ability to trust the process — and now she’s passionate about helping every couple experience that same sense of ease and joy in the months leading up to and on their wedding day. She brings a reassuring, organized, and detail-oriented approach to every event. When she’s not planning weddings, MeiMei can be found exploring new restaurants in Philadelphia, traveling, practicing and teaching yoga, hiking, playing word games, or enjoying quiet nights at home.

Nicole Gurrieri

Lead Planner

With a bubbly personality and a passion for creating unforgettable experiences, Nicole brings six years of event planning and management experience. Known for her keen eye for detail, organizational skills, and positive energy, she is dedicated to making the wedding planning process feel seamless, enjoyable, and uniquely personal. She believes every couple deserves to feel heard, supported, and prioritized throughout their journey. Nicole is beyond excited to work alongside couples, bringing their vision to life, and providing support every step of the way as they plan one of the most meaningful days of their lives.

When she’s not busy planning celebrations, you can find her spending quality time with her husband and their two-year-old rescue dog. Whether Nicole’s enjoying a cozy day at home or out making memories with her friends and family, she loves soaking up the moments that make life special.

Taylor Wychrij

Lead Planner

Taylor brings 12 years of experience in the wedding industry to her role as Lead Planner at Josie Jo Events. Her love for weddings began at her aunt and uncles wedding venue, where working alongside her aunt taught her how to bring couples’ ideas to life through personal, thoughtful, and beautifully executed celebrations. With a background in event coordination, floral and venue design, personalized planning - and even a bit of hair and makeup artistry - Taylor pairs a creative eye with a calm, reassuring presence and thoughtful attention to detail. She believes every wedding should reflect the couple at its heart and loves weaving their personalities and ideas into everything from the overall atmosphere to the smallest details.

For her, planning begins with connection: getting to know each couple, understanding what matters most to them, and helping them feel supported every step of the way. She wants her couples to feel just as excited about the planning process as they are about the wedding itself. Through clear communication and personalized support, she helps them feel confident in their decisions, comfortable being themselves, and be fully present on their wedding day.

Outside of weddings, Taylor enjoys spending time with her husband and goldendoodle, Daisy. Together they enjoy outdoor adventures, watching sports, and trying new restaurants and experiences in Philly!
